The
Cranbury digital Camera
Club is open to anyone with any interest in cameras and photography. All
photographers are
welcome and invited to join the club regardless of their level of proficiency,
from beginner and amateur through professional - we have something for
everyone. While the focus of the Club is on digital photographic techniques, film photographers are very welcome to join us
in learning about the digital process. Our members come from all over New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania.

Regular
CdCC club meeting
are held twice a month, on the 2nd and 4th
Wednesdays at 8:00 pm, with the first meeting of each month being an instructional
evening and the second being a member's competition. Click here

The Cranbury digital Camera Club
meetings are held at:
The Fellowship Hall of
The United Methodist Church of Cranbury at 21 N. Main Street,
Cranbury, NJ.
Access to Fellowship Hall is through the doorway on the side of the
Church on School Street. Parking for, and access to, The United
Methodist Church is from the parking lot adjacent to the Cranbury

For the first meeting of each month we
often invite accomplished, professional or experienced speakers to our instructional
meetings. They talk about, and demonstrate, a wide variety of subjects involved
in the digital photographic processes.
The second meeting of each month features our work as
photographers. Competitions are a valuable tool for photographers to receive
totally unbiased, honest opinions and critiques of their work. We engage
experienced judges who can critique in a non-threatening way so that even the
youngest and the least experienced among us will benefit. A lot can also be
learned from hearing the critique of another’s work.
Besides the two regular monthly meetings,
the CdCC hosts frequent meetings, outings and workshops. Club members
frequently visit other camera clubs in the NJ/PA area and participate in
national and international competitions.
The
Cranbury digital Camera
Club was started in January 2006 by Janet Paxton and Greg DeAngelis and
their spouses, Tony and Linda, all of whom are residents of Cranbury. The club
continues to expand and we now have over 80 members including several youth family
members. We would like to thank everyone for their support and look forward to
welcoming new members every month.
Initially the
Cranbury digital Camera Club
meetings were held at The Gourgaud Gallery in Cranbury.
However, we outgrew our first home and would like to thank the Cranbury Arts Council and Cranbury Township
for their help and support in starting CdCC.
The
Cranbury digital Camera Club is led
and organized by
a Board consisting of a President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary and
Webmaster. Various committees, headed by committee chairs, focus on specific
functions and activities within the Club. Board elections are held in January
each year in accordance with the CdCC By-Laws.
