The Cranbury digital Camera Club Newsletter - July 2006 I hope you all remembered that our competition is this evening, Wednesday 26th July at 7:30pm at the Gourgaud Gallery in Cranbury Town Hall. The theme is “Fireworks” and we have a very talented and accomplished judge to critique our images this month. We have asked Joel Morgovsky to judge. He is a Professor of Psychology at Brookdale Community College and he has specialized in the psychology of photography among other things. He is a very interesting and highly sought after lecturer and we are very lucky to have him come to our club. He has a web site if you are interested at www.readingpictures.net and there are some fascinating insights into why we take photos and what we see in them. We look forward to seeing you all at 7:15 to register your photos. Please remember that you must be a member to enter images and the rules are all on our website at www.cranburydigitalcameraclub.org We will take some time at the end of the meeting if you need help selecting images to present to us for selection into our first show in September in the Gallery. The images need to be with us by the first meeting in August and we will select as many as we can for inclusion in the show. Every member may submit up to three images. You will get at least one accepted. Please also remember the Workshop dates scheduled for the weekend of 12th and 13th August. More details at the meeting and will be posted on the web site this week. We look forward to seeing your images. |
